Dr. Georgina Aziz is an Occupational therapist; she holds a BSc in Occupational Therapy from Paris-12 University- France (1999), a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2016), a Master’s Degree in Neuro-Rehabilitation (2012), and a B.A. in Physical Therapy (1994) from the Public Health Faculty - Lebanese University

She participated in several trainings in Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California, USA and in Brain Gym Technic. She followed also several trainings in different topics and subjects in many countries such as Australia, Canada and France…

She is a founding member of the Lebanese Occupational Therapy Association (LOTA) and the Lebanese Occupational Therapists Syndicate (LOTS).

She is an instructor and a training supervisor at the Occupational Therapy Department at Lebanese University since it’s founded.

She participated also in creating different OT services in several hospitals and centers in Lebanon, for adults, elderly and pediatrics population. And intervened as OT in the intensive care unit. She has also developed the 1^st OT department for seating and positioning for disabled people in Lebanon.

She has organized and contributed to a number of conferences and workshops.

حائزة على اجازة في العلاج الإنشغالي من جامعة باريس 12 في فرنسا وإجازة ثمّ ماجستير, ودكتوراه في العلاج الفيزيائي من كلية الصحة العامة في الجامعة اللبنانية.

شاركت في عدد من الدورات في تقنية التكامل الحسي (Sensory Integration ) من جامعة ثاوثرن – كاليفونيا – الولايات المتحدة الأميركية وتقنية ال Brain Gym. وشاركت في العديد من الدورات التدريبية في عدة دول منها فرنسا وأستراليا وكندا.

عضو مؤسس للجمعية اللبنانية للعلاج الانشغالي ونقابة المعالجيين الانشغاليين في لبنان. ومن أوائل الذين ساهموا بالتدريب والتدريس في قسم العلاج الانشغالي في كلية الصحة العامة في الجامعة اللبنانية وما تزال تحاضر في هذا القسم.

ساهمت أيضاً في تأسيس العديد من الأقسام الخاصة بالعلاج الانشغالي في عدة مراكز ومستشفيات في لبنان.
