Fatima Chehouri-Nasser, OTD, MOTR/L
Registered Occupational Therapist

American Board certified Occupational Therapist with a doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Philadelphia/Jefferson University, USA. Dr. Nasser received extensive training at Johns Hopkins University Hospital followed by a full time senior position at the facility; and held numerous faculty posts nationally and internationally.

Dr. Nasser is the director and owner of a private practice in Beirut-Lebanon that provides clinical evaluations and interventions in various specialty areas including traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities, and other neurological disorders. Her work also involves collaborating with local and international NGOs for conducting workshops and professional development seminars within the realm of occupational therapy. Her expertise is in the area of cognitive rehabilitation with emphasis on the psychosocial model of occupational participation.

Dr. Nasser is the President of the Lebanese Occupational Therapists Syndicate, long-standing member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and active member of World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT).  She has participated in numerous research projects for WFOT and WHO Global Clinical Practice Network.

معالجة انشغالية

دكتوراه في العلاج الانشغالي من جامعة فيلادلفيا / جيفرسون، اولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وحائزة على شهادة البورد الأمريكي في العلاج الانشغالي.
تدربت وعملت الدكتورة ناصر في مستشفى جامعة جونز هوبكنز في ميريلاند لعدة سنوات حيث شغرت عدة مناصب في المستشفى كان آخرها انشاء Medicine Service – Psychia التي كانت ترأسها. 
حاليا تترأس الدكتورة ناصر نقابة المعالجين الانشغاليين في لبنان، وهي عضو في الجمعية الأمريكية للعلاج الانشغالي (AOTA) وعضو ناشط في المنظمة العالمية للمعالجين الانشغاليين (WFOT).
كما تقوم الدكتورة ناصر بادارة مركز العلاج الانشغالي في بيروت – لبنان، حيث يقوم المركز بتقديم العديد من الخدمات ذات الصلة من تقييمات وتدخلات علاجية في مجالات تخصصية مختلفة بما في ذلك إصابات الدماغ، صعوبات التعلم، إعادة التأهيل المعرفي مع التركيز على النموذج النفسي الاجتماعي وغيرها من الضطرابات العصبية.
ويتضمن عملها أيضاً التعاون مع المنظمات غير الحكومية المحلية والدولية لإجراء ورش عمل وندوات التطوير المهني في مجال العلاج الانشغالي..
شاركت في العديد من المشاريع البحثية لشبكة WFOT  وشبكة WHO Global Clinical Practice Network التابعة لمنظمة الصحة العالمية.
